Introducing BAND, Business And Networking Development, lead-generating networking groups!

BANDs are category-exclusive business referral groups that develop business contacts and share leads with the members of their group. Each group will have 12 or more members, and only one person from any profession or business specialty will be eligible to join. Not only will group members be potential customers for each other, but they will be highly encouraged to find referrals for other members of their BAND. An emphasis will be placed on finding referrals from outside of the Chamber membership, creating an expanded network for each of its members. Each member completes a commitment form stating their intent to attend meetings on a regular basis and to seek out referrals.

This is a new benefit of your chamber membership package! Many referral organizations charge from $300-$600 annually to belong to a networking group! BANDs will cost FAC members a small fee to cover materials in addition to membership dues of $25 for a year commitment or $15 for a six-month commitment. Groups will meet for 45 minutes to an hour, twice per month on the same day and time and at the same location.

Group II Now Forming

The first BAND group has formed. Members are still being accepted for Group I; however, we are also beginning to accept applications to form a second group.

Group I

Meetings: Second and fourth Thursday of each month at 8 am at Dino’s Lounge in Ferndale.
